Plastic recycle code

Normally plastic has categorized into 7 types of Recycling code. Each code has different types of plastic and recycling process

      There are following types and recycling codes- 

1. PET

2. HDPE

3. PVC

4. LDPE

5. PP

6. PS

7. OTHER

1. PET

INTRODUCTION :    Poly ethylene terephthalate are use to keep safe food and drinks from outer moisture and odors. This is a commonly used plastic. It is us to make many commonly items like beverage bottles, jars, big jugs, and other seal pack items.  

GENRAL PROPERTIES : (PET) Poly ethylene terephthalate  has good gas and moisture barrier properties, High resistance transparent, hard,  tough.

USES:  Mineral water bottle , frizzy drinks and beer bottles, trays, roasting bags, fiber and clothing, carpets, strapping, some shampoo and mouthwash bottles.

2. HDPE

INTRODUCTION:   High density poly ethylene  are very good and keep safe food and drinks from outer moisture and odors. HDPE. is commonly recycled. It is use to make bottles and jars for mils , shampoo and conditioner. 

                      

GENRAL PROPERTIES: High density poly ethylene has excellent moisture barrier properties and excellent chemical resistance , soft waxy surface  and other useful properties which makes us work easier.

USES : High density polyethylene is usually make for detergents, and bleach or fabric conditioner bottles, snack food boxes and milk boxes and pouches , plants jars and pots, It is also make for plastic plants and garden decoration.

3. PVC 

INTRODUCTION : polyvinyl chloride is low recycle plastic . PVC is normally use for all types  pipes and tiles. It is harmful for our health . so normally it is not use for direct of our food products.

GENRAL PROPERTIES: PVC has excellent transparency , hard , rigid , long term stability, good weathering properties ability and low gas permeability.

USES : It is mostly uses for credit cards ,carpet backing and other floor covering , Window and door frames, guttering Pipes and fitting , wire and cable sheeting , and other pipes.

4.LDPE 

INTRODUCTION : Low density polyethylene is low recycle plastic. This plastics is safe for food and dinks items . It is also cheaper , long durable and flexible.

GENRAL PEOPERTIES: poly ethylene has excellent chemical resistance , high melting properties , hard, durable and cheaper. It has also good moisture barrier properties.

USES:  Poly ethylene is commonly use for films, fertilizer bags, refuse sacks, packaging films, flexible bottles, irrigation pipes, wire and cable coating, and some other bottles caps.

5.PP

INTRODUCTION :  Polypropylene is normal recycled. polypropylene has very high strong properties and temperature resistance properties . that why we make big boxes and other use full products from polypropylene. It is also use for making bottle caps.

GENRAL PROPERTIES : Polypropylene has excellent chemical resistance , high melting point, hard , tough and durable, brittle, and highly clearance.

USES : Polypropylene is usually making for bottles caps , boxes , ketchup and syrup bottles, yogurt and some other containers heavy boxes and fabric fiber , and some other useful items .

6. PS 

INTRODUCTION : Polystyrene is a commonly used plastic. It is commonly and easier to recycle . so some disposable items are made of this plastic such as:  coffee cup plastic food tray, and some food packaging items made of polystyrene plastics.

GENRAL PROPERTIES : Polystyrene has very good clear , glassy, rigid, hard , brittle, and high clarity.

USES : It is normally use for making some disposable items likes coffee cup, food boxes, food trays, egg boxes, and other normally uses and disposable items.  

7. OTHERS

INTRDUCTION : Normally code 7 is the group of many miscellaneous plastic which is not in the above codes. It has polycarbonate(PC) , polylactide(PL), nylon (PA) , acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) and and other useful plastics which is not easier recycle, because of their properties .They are not very hard and tough to recycle that type of plastics.

GENRAL PROPERTIES : These type of plastic normally uses in the engineering sector due to its excellent strength and had and tough properties. So this type of plastic usually define as code 7.

USES :  This type of plastic usually uses in engineering sectors like: nylon (PA)  polycarbonate(PC) acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) and other mixed plastics.
